JEAN CAMILO

Jean Camilo is a Colombian-American Illustrator and Multi-Disciplinary Artist based in Northwest New Jersey.

She is a graduate of Pratt Institute, holding a BFA in Communications Design with an Illustration emphasis, and has 5 years of freelance experience creating artwork for clients in music, tabletop gaming and new media. She also holds a Storyboarding Certificate from Vancouver Film School.

Her creature-focused work celebrates the beauty in the bizarre, inspired by paleoart and the dark fantasy illustrations she grew up loving, melded with a surrealist sensibility and visual references from pulp horror, punk culture, archeology and myth.
